Almost Over :(
Can you believe the summer is almost over? We have two camps going this week (Michigan City, IN and Hurricane, WV), but after that, the 2010 summer schedule is over. I say the schedule is over, because I believe much of the impact will forever live on. My favorite moment of the summer was a youth leader telling me about a kid that accepted Christ at one of our Evening Programs. The group was from Alabama, and to think, they came all the way to West Virginia! That one youth makes everything worth it! What's your favorite moment from this summer?

I just attended Hurricane WV, and it was my fourth and final Reach camp. These past four years, and four weeks have been the best ones of my life. They have always inspired me to go out there and help others. This week brings me closer to my youth group, new friends and most importantly God. I know that Reach certainly stands by it's motto when it says "Make an impact" It makes an impact not only on us as campers, but also our neighbors. I don't know what I would have done if I wasn't able to meet the lady I had this past week. She is the sweetest person and she is going through an extremely tough time right now. Not only did we help fix her house, so it's more suitable to live it, we helped heal her heart, and her relationship with God. And that is something I'll never forget. Reach has changed my life, and I give it all to you guys, so thank you!
